BARNWELL MOUNTAIN
Barnwell Mountain Recreational Area (BMRA), near Gilmer, TX

Around lunch time, MSupertek, Mudduck and some others showed up. We hooked up with ParrotHead, a great guy from the North Texas Jeepers who offered to be a trail guide. We started off day one with an easy 2 to warm up; Politician. Of course, we ran it backwards, so it wasn't as easy as we thought it would be. The "entrance" was pretty steep and had a nasty ledge. I took the bypass and MSupertek took the ledge.

ParrotHead is one of those great guys that salvage the reputation of Jeepers. He was a fantastic spotter for BamBam, and never got frustrated even when I did. His truck looked pretty awesome out there too.
